Today was Caleb's last day of preschool. They celebrated Valentine's Day and Clifford the Big Red Dog's birthday since they aren't in session for those days. Everybody wore red and brought Valentines to exchange. What surprised me is that the days of the simple, perforated-edge character Valentines are over. All but two of the valentines were either attached to candy or were simply candy with a section of the label reserved for "to" and "from". Ours was obviously the only homemade Valentine. Which is fine, I don't remember getting too many of those. (See Caleb's Valentine!) It's just disappointing that we're starting to pump our kids full of sugar at such a young age.
