If you remember, or if you don't, a while back Micah had an allergic reaction to peanut butter. It was his second direct exposure to peanuts, and reacted with hives on his skin.
Today we went to see the allergist who ordered a blood test for him. She also prescribed an Epi-Pen Jr. for him. We have to carry it with us wherever we take Micah in the event he accidentally comes in contact with peanuts. It looks very simple to use, and in fact we were given a "practice" version so I can show other people how to give him the injection. The epinephrine injection buys him 15 minutes to seek medical attention, so we'd have to call 911 after using it.
