So we've been back for a while now, but this relates. We formed our list of missing items, consisting of a lot of my jewelry, some of Bryan's watches, and a few other things. Add it all up, and it was nearly $3,000.

I spoke to the adjuster today and unfortunately, our renter's policy only covers up to $1000 of jewelry loss. Too bad that was MOSTLY what was taken. The rest was less than $200. So there's pretty much no way we can replace all that was taken.

So if you have renter's insurance, get the "valuable personal property" coverage, which apparently is not much more, so you don't end up in this situation. And if you don't have renter's or homeowner's insurance, you're a crazy person.

:) Just a friendly notice.
