I bought a Conair blow dryer in 2001 and have never forgotten the following warning in the instruction manual:
"Do not use while sleeping"
(1) One could fall asleep while drying his/her hair. It would be quite something to fall asleep, remain upright, keep the arm raised with the dryer in hand, and manage to still point it toward the scalp.
(2) One could dry hair while sleepwalking, which would be perfectly natural, actually, if one were sleepshowering as well. But in that case, would you really be capable of reading/comprehending this warning that is surprisingly not on the mandatory warning label attached to the cord (where one might look in the process of sleephairdrying).
But then, we are raised to be Little Engines That Could and must always aspire to do the seemingly impossible.
