Micah didn't get a big birthday party this year, but he got TWO! The first we had with my family while we were in Washington, the evening before we left. My mom made a lovely banana cake for Micah. It was delicious, and Micah agreed. Mom, Claudia, Michelle, Andi, Ashley, Caleb, and I sang him his FIRST "Happy Birthday"!
His second first birthday party was on the day after we arrived in Newport, OR for Bryan's family reunion, so there was a crowd of his second-cousins, grandparents, great-aunts, great-uncles, and great-GREAT-grandparents, along with his DAD who missed the first party. We bought him a cute cake from Fred Meyer with a fire engine that is now part of the toy collection in our house.
